CrossKnowledge is ready with a new mobile app called “Learn”. It is putting together technologies and options to allow learners to easily manage multiple content streams both online and offline. The app can also be used across multiple devices to ease the training process further.

Currently “Learn” is available only for iPhone and iPad. The Android version is currently in the works and CrossKnowledge promises it will be ready soon. “Contrary to applications currently available on the market, CrossKnowledge’s app was designed to accompany learners throughout their entire day,” said Steve Fiehl, chief innovation officer at CrossKnowledge in an official statement. “We took into account learning practices and behaviors to create a completely integrated learning experience that is fully optimized to a smartphone, tablet, and a computer.”

“Learn” will try to give training a more mobile context. Businesses can optimize training times with a cross-device approach that provides true learning continuity. The app works with any type of content including one that is developed by customers and is trade specific. Any type of smartphone-compatible content is also possible to use with the app. Naturally, CrossKnowledge’s content is also fully available.

“All content is provided within the customer’s brand universe,” said Fiehl. “Content used by employees is directly synchronized and logs are consolidated in the CrossKnowledge Learning Suite for better training program management.” Businesses adopting CrossKnowledge’s approach can provide each employee the same level of convivial training, but adapted to their individual needs. Also, with free access to content, they can explore other topics and subjects and share it with others in their learning community.

CrossKnowledge even envisions employees being proactive and seeking to learn when they commute to work. The app will be able to give them tips thorughout the day, too, even helping them during meetings. People will be able to recommend other content, too which can then be viewed by their peers.
